Our traditional and comfortable Bed and Breakfast is set in the Arnside and Silverdale AONB. We are the perfect place to find peace and tranquility, away from the madding crowds and light pollution. We overlook Leighton Moss and are surrounded by open countryside and woodland.
If you enjoy bird watching, walking, cycling or wish to explore and enjoy some of the most attractive countryside England has to offer then a stay in our B & B is a must, and the best is literally on our doorstep. A short stroll will take you into Leighton Moss nature reserve famed for its rare birds, deer and other wildlife. Locally there is an extensive network of footpaths and quiet lanes for cycling we are also close to the Lancashire Cycle Way. There are excellent pubs nearby where you can enjoy fine Lancashire food, such as the Kings Arms at Hale.
Our caravan site has 5 spacious, level, grassy pitches and Electric hook up points.
We are easy to find just 10 minutes away from J35 of the M6 and easily accessible via rail or bus.
We welcome well-behaved dogs.
We try to make every effort to ensure our guests comfort and needs are met during their stay and hope you'll enjoy this beautiful area as much as we do, if there is anything you need to know just ask!
Payment is accepted by cash or cheque.
At Grisedale Farm B&B we have taken some simple, but we hope effective measures to become more environmentally friendly including:
- Eggs supplied by our own rescued ex-battery hens
- Our guests are supplied with Organic Toiletries
- We have undertaken several projects on our farm to conserve and encourage wildlife
